LUSH has a limited edition lip scrub this holiday season! Santa’s Lip Scrub is a bright red, cola-flavored sugar scrub that will buff away all of the dry skin on your lips. This lip scrub also contains coconut oil to moisturize and condition your lips, as well.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, which means we can put away those autumn shades and bring out our holiday polishes!
I really enjoy all of the festivities during Christmas and having my nails done really helps me to feel extra spirited. This post showcases mostly old favorites that I bring out every year, with just a couple of polishes that were new to me.
QVC has a great candle set this holiday season! This set of three NOTES candles is actually produced by the blogger favorite, NEST.
The set contains three, 9 oz. candles, each packaged in their own festive box. This is a nice set for gifting or just to keep for yourself (which I did).
LUSH Rudolph is a Limited Edition Fresh Mask, available in-stores only at LUSH this holiday season. Rudolph is formulated specifically for dry, winter skin and claims to “soothe and soften dry, irritated skin.”
For those who are not familiar with the Fresh Face Masks, these products are all-natural and preservative-free and must be kept in the refrigerator. I quite like the Fresh Face Masks in general, because they are natural and have ingredients I can actually pronounce. The only downside with this product is that the expiry date is typically 2-3 weeks after it’s purchased.
So what did I think of Rudolph?
I got a pleasant surprise in my mailbox this past Saturday – my November Ipsy bag! Usually it takes close to a week for Ipsy to arrive, but this month I got it pretty quickly. This post is a few days later than I normally would have liked, but the plus side is that I have been able to try most of the products.
So how was the November Ipsy bag?
It’s that time of the month again: my November Birchbox arrived the other day! I always get so excited for Birchbox, but I would say that every other month I’m a bit let down. So how would I rank the November box?
P.S. Sorry the tablecloth is so creased. It’s brand new and needs to be ironed.
Thanksgiving is just around the corner for all of us who live in America, and I am one of those sad people who plans out their makeup and nail polish for every holiday. But, as much as I get into wearing festive makeup, I don’t want to spend my entire holiday putting my makeup on.
Here some makeup items that are really quick to apply, but will still make you feel autumnal and polished. I also tried to keep in mind that many people travel for Thanksgiving, so there are many travel-friendly products here.
I picked up the Julep Pomegranate Body Creme about a month ago because I was looking for a more autumnal scent, since most of my body lotions are too summery.
Apart from the obvious pomegranate, this body moisturizer also contains papaya and shea butter, as well as three oils: jojoba, kukui nut, and avocado. Apparently the pomegranate and papaya act as exfoliants, which may be what makes this stuff so good.
I hope everyone had a nice week! I am going to do some Christmas shopping today. I don’t know if I will actually get anything yet, but I just really like being out in the shops while everything is decorated.
If you are also obsessed with the holiday season and decorated shops, check out my last post.
Here are the polishes I used this week:
Since I love both the Christmas season and shopping, I am thinking of doing a holiday shopping series. Also, I love reading lifestyle posts, especially this time of year.
The other day I was shopping at the mall I typically go to: Town Center at Boca Raton in Boca Raton, FL. It was completely decorated for Christmas, give or take a couple of shops that were first setting up.
