With the whole Perfect Palette Tag going around and my love for eye shadow, I thought I would do a post on my top neutral eye shadow palettes. Although I own a lot of colored eye shadow palettes, these are the ones I reach for the most.
I did not include my MAC or Inglot palettes since those you can build yourself to customize. These are all pre-made, and I know a lot of people spend a lot of time trying to figure out which palette is right for them before they make a purchase.
Since spring is just around the corner, I wanted to share some of my favorite candles for this time of year. Although I tend to light candles much more during the fall and winter, there are a few scents that I absolutely love for spring and summer.
All of the candles here are old favorites that I bring out every year, except for one.
I couldn’t resist doing another Nail of the Day post featuring one of my favorite polishes, First Timer by Essie. First Timer was released last year, as part of Essie’s 2013 Resort Collection. This is one of those polishes that I can’t imagine not having in my collection.
For the last post in my skincare series, I figured I would feature a couple of extras.
Something I use daily is sun protection, and not just because I live in Florida. Your skin is still susceptible to damage in the daytime, even with lack of sun. Another product I kind to keep on hand is some sort of acne treatment for when my skin is broken out.
Over the past few weeks it has finally started to feel like spring and so I have grown tired of the autumn/winter makeup shades. Although a couple of these products are limited edition, I thought I would share some of the beauty products I have been loving over the last few weeks.
One of my favorite days of the month is when my Ipsy bag arrives in the mail! For those of you who don’t know what Ipsy is, it’s a $10/month subscription service where you receive about five beauty products (mainly full-size or travel size). All of the products come in a cute makeup bag, that is different each month.
I don’t always write a post about what I receive in my Ipsy bag, but this month’s bag was really nice, so I had to share! I haven’t used any of these products yet, so this is just my first impression of the overall bag.
This is the second post in my Best Skincare Bits series. Today’s post is about my favorite cleanser and favorite mask. I have tried many products over the years and these are the two that I have found work best for me right now.
I have been using both of these products for about 6 months, so I feel like I am able to give a pretty good review of how they work and why I like them!
I tried holding off on wearing spring nail polishes for as long as I could and I made it to the middle of February. Besides the fact that the weather here is getting nicer and all of the stores have out most of their spring merchandise, winter polishes were just making me feel blah.
