Cargo recently redesigned the packaging of their Essential Lip Gloss. This lip gloss is formulated to be long-lasting, non-sticky, and moisturizing. It contains jojoba oil and vitamin E to not only hydrate lips, but to decrease the appearance of fine lines around the mouth.
I recently received Mally’s Face Defender BB Cream Foundation with SPF 15, and I have been trying it out for a few weeks. This oil-free foundation claims to diffuse the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and pores. The Face Defender foundation also contains anti-aging ingredients, but I believe the younger girls will love this, as well!
I don’t know if I have mentioned this before, but I have very oily eyelids. Not only do I need an eye shadow primer to keep my shadow on, but I struggle to find one that actually works. I have tried many primers and the only one that came close to “wowing” me was the NARS Smudge Proof Eye Shadow Base. I had no idea that Cargo even sold an eye primer, so I was quite excited to try this one out.
I used to be obsessed with bright colored eye shadow. This was my look: colored shadow (a favorite was MAC’s Lime) with MAC Modesty on my lips. As I got more and more into bright lipstick, I switched to neutral eye shades. Now, I pretty much always reach for neutral shadows.
And I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you this, but neutral palettes have been all the rage lately. However, this palette by 100% Pure is slightly different from the rest!
Julep has been a huge favorite of mine for a long time, so I was beyond excited when I found out that they were releasing a range of blushes! Blush is my favorite makeup item, and it is also the one product that I think really makes a difference to my complexion (super fair girls know what I’m talking about).
So what did I think of the Julep blush?
I haven’t done a Nail of the Day post in a few weeks, and I thought this polish was too cute not to share!
The other day I had this weird urge to rearrange my MAC palettes. Although I did redo all of my palettes, which are sorted by color, it was really my neutral palettes that needed it the most.
I am pretty big into using a lot of natural skincare products, and body care is no exception. If you also feel the same way, then I recommend checking out 100% Pure. Not only are their products natural and cruelty-free, many of them are vegan, as well.
I have tried a couple of body scrubs from 100% Pure and I absolutely love them. This was my first experience with the brand’s shower gels, and I was pretty impressed.
Now that the warmer weather is approaching, it’s time for me to start wearing lighter bases. Cargo’s HD Picture Perfect CC Cream is going to be a great addition to my makeup bag in the summertime, and not just because it offers natural-looking coverage.
One of my long-time beauty obsessions is green nail polish. Whether you are wearing it on your fingers or toes, I find green to be an almost universally flattering shade.
These are my favorite green polishes for spring and summer!
