Candle Ideas for Summer ’13

Like a lot of us, I am a huge candle junkie. I personally do prefer Autumn and Winter candles more, but I have been lighting my Spring and Summer candles much for this year. I have been especially enjoying having them lit in the evening.

I tried to mix it up here, so there are some natural, soy-based candles as well as the not so natural ones.

Yankee Candle Pink Sands: a sweet, citrus scent with a floral undertone.

Yankee Candle Lemon Lavender: a spicy lemon scent with a hint of lavender. This is on of my favorite candles for rainy, Summer days.

Yankee Candle Honeydew Melon: this smells exactly like sweet, honeydew melon. It’s a fruit I hate to eat, but the candle smells so good.

Bath & Body Works Market Peach: a great, peach scent. And as you can see, I’m about halfway through this one.

Henri Bendel Coconut Flower: the perfect coconut scent for Spring and Summer.

Root Anjou Pear: a sweet, pear scent. This candle is also nice during Christmas.

What are your favorite Spring and Summer candles?

I love the smell of candles! I love lighting them at night. It always makes my house smell nice. I recently bought Bath and Body Works Gelato and it smells amazing! Makes me feel like I have eaten Gelato without having the calories :) I also like the Watermelon scent, Pina Colada, and Summer Scoop from Yankee Candle. Yankee Candle is my go to store for candles. I literally have a collection of candles.
