Julep Moisture Mask Trio

Julep_MoistureMaskTrio

One of my favorite beauty brands, Julep, has a new product out! It’s a trio of masks, including of one each for your feet, hands, and nails.

The three masks come in separate packets. They are basically like a plastic glove (or foot-shaped glove) with an oil treatment inside. The directions say to leave the mask on for 20-30 minutes. And you can only use each mask once.

Foot Mask: This was my favorite of the three. It had a mild, cucumber scent. I don’t actually have super dry feet. My heels can get a bit dry, but that’s about it, so I cannot say how it would work for someone with extremely dry or cracked heels. But for me, it was great! And I did use a foot scrub prior to using the mask.

Hand Mask: I do have dry hands. Although they are not callused, they do get a bit tough. My fingertips can also get extremely dry, so I use hand cream about 100 times a day. This mask had a very lemony scent, which I liked. However, I did not find this mask very effective; my hands still felt the same afterwards. I also used a hand scrub before using this product.

Nail Mask: This was my least favorite of the three. The nail mask was also the most annoying to wear because there is a separate mask for each fingertip, and they did not want to stay on. There was no noticeable scent while I was wearing the mask, but afterwards I noticed my nails smelled a bit… fishy? It was kind of gross. Also, I did not detect much difference in my nails or cuticles.

Overall, I don’t think I would purchase this again considered I really only liked the foot mask. But, if Julep released a trio of the foot masks, I would definitely buy it again. And that would make it more worth the price.

Availability: Julep, $20.
