I have been dying to do a post about the Julep Bare Face Cleansing Oil, but I wanted to make sure I was using it for a decent amount of time before I said anything about it. I have been using this product for close to a month now, so it seemed like a good time to finally give a fair review.
Bare Face is a face cleanser, containing rosehip seed oil, green coffee bean oil, and Malvaceae Lipid Extract, among other natural ingredients. What I love about this product is that you pump it onto dry hands and apply it to a dry face in order to remove dirt and makeup. I then dampen a paper towel with warm water and wipe everything away. Then, I just splash a bit of warm water on my face to wash away any excess product or dirt.
I have been using Bare Face, at night, for about a month and I seriously love this stuff! (I still use Angels on Bare Skin by LUSH as my morning cleanser.) I have experience no breakouts by using Bare Face and in fact, my skin looks a lot healthier and just better overall. I have also noticed that my pores are slightly smaller. Bare Face is also meant to remove eye makeup, however, it was still a bit harsh for my eyes so I am still sticking with baby oil.
Bare Face is a great product for anyone who gets lazy about removing their makeup at night or feels like having a skincare routine is more of a project. I wash my face with this, quickly apply my serums and moisturizer, and I am done for the evening.
What do you think of this product? Have you ever used a cleansing oil or cleansing balm?
