Top Hand & Nail Care Products

I am obsessed with painting my nails, but it’s also important to me to keep my hands and nails in good shape. I would say that my nail and cuticle care is still a work in progress, but they have come a long way and look a lot better than they did.

I know that most of the products are by Julep, but they do really great hand and nail care products!

I am definitely a huge hand cream person and I put it on, no joke, about 20 times a day. My favorite by far is the Julep Rock Star Hand Creme. I have been through so many tubes of this stuff and so far, I haven’t found one I like better. A great handbag item is the eos Hand Lotion, which is around $3.00 from drugstores and comes in a few different scents.

Another great addition to my hand care products is the Julep Glycolic Hand Scrub. When I initially received this scrub I really did not think that it would do much, but I was completely wrong. This scrub removes the dead skin on the back of your hands – you know, that layer of skin that makes your hands look much older. I always follow up the scrub with a bit of hand cream.

There are two more products that I really like having on hand: cuticle oil and cuticle remover. I have used a few cuticle oils over the year that I really like, but right now I am currently using the Julep Essential Cuticle Oil. i like this oil in particular because it has a built in rollerball, which makes applying it super easy (and you don’t really need to massage it into the cuticle like with other oils).

The last product, which is probably my favorite of them all, is the Julep Vanish Cuticle Softener & Remover (this product was also my inspiration for this blog post). Vanish is a newer product from Julep and I have to say, it’s the best cuticle remover I have ever used. I apply the milk-like product to a nail and use a wooden stick to clean out the excess skin, then move on to the next nail, etc. I have used other cuticle removers in the past, but Vanish works the best and gives the cleanest looking nails. This product also lasts the longest, because it’s supposed to prolong cuticle regrowth. All I can say is that if you have never used a cuticle remover, it will change your nail care life.

Do you use any of these products? What are you favorite hand and nail care products?

I’m gonna look for the hand scrub it sounds like something I need. Will also look for the cuticle remover. Currently using OPI Avoplex. It’s okay — I’m sure it’d work a lot better if I’d use it regularly/ more often. Just ran out of Lemony Flutter and I’m making do with a Sally Hansen gel that’s just not cutting it. My hands have really needed more attention this year than ever before it seems.

Same here – my hands have been extra dry! If you’re in the U.S., Sephora sells some Julep products. But I normally order everything from Julep’s site.
