Best Skincare Bits: Moisturizers

If you are new to my blog, I should start off by saying that I love my skincare.

I decided that I’m going to do a series called Best Skincare Bits, where I go over a couple of my favorite products. This week it’s moisturizers! Although these products may not work for everyone’s skin type (I have dry to combination skin), I still think they are still pretty good all-around products.

For a good, everyday moisturizer I really like Skin Drink by LUSH. Skin Drink is the slightest bit thicker than your average, lightweight moisturizers. Given that, I do not find that it leaves the skin greasy at all. I have also had a lot of moisturizers cause my face to feel tight and dry after I apply them, but this product leaves my skin feeling hydrated. My only issue with Skin Drink is that because it is sesame based, it’s tan in color, and I find that it leaves my super pale skin a bit tinted, which I don’t like.

Another little addition that I like to have on hand is Weleda’s Skin Food. This product is more of a salve that you can use on any extremely dry areas on your skin. I don’t typically use Skin Food on my entire face, but oftentimes my cheeks and forehead need a little extra moisturizing and this does the trick.

Just to note, I do have very sensitive skin and neither of these products irritate or cause my face to breakout.

What is your favorite moisturizer?
