Mally Beauty was very kind and sent me a couple of products to try out, one of which is the High-Shine Liquid Lipstick Pens. These lip glosses are supposed to be an all-in-one product that acts as lip primer, lipstick, gloss, and lip liner.

Even though these are called High-Shine Liquid Lipstick, they really are a lip gloss. Since these are supposed to be a 4-in-1 product, I definitely wouldn’t say that the High-Shine Pens would replace my lipstick since they aren’t quite as opaque, but you certainly can wear them alone and they still look great.

These have a really nice, smooth texture and they are not the least bit sticky. They do set a touch, which I assume is the lip primer aspect, so they don’t feel wet on your lips for hours like some glosses do. The scent is also really nice; it reminds of the Sweet Tarts, which is a candy here in the U.S. For me, lip gloss lasts until I eat something, so the High-Shine Pens are no exception.

The only thing I’m not crazy about is the packaging. You twist the pens to release the product, which is fine, but I feel like a lot of the gloss gets stuck in the bristles of the brush and it wastes a bit of product. The gloss also dries a bit in the bristles, so that also wastes more product. I would have preferred these to have a doe-foot applicator because you have more control and the lip gloss would last longer.

That being said, I really do think these are great lip glosses and I have been wearing Must Have Pink quite a bit lately!
